Separate native phone applications
Install Molrelay from this website. Use your existing website account for the same molecules, calculations, results and sharing permissions. You may need to sign in again after installing.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Molrelay in Safari.
- Tap Share (or More, then Share), then Add to Home Screen.
- If offered, leave Open as Web App on. Tap Add, then open the Molrelay icon.
Apple installation instructions
Android phones
- Open Molrelay in your phone’s current browser. On Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo and Honor phones with Android, Chrome is an option if already available.
- Tap the browser menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen. In current Chrome, choose Install and create shortcut, then Install.
- Open the Molrelay icon and sign in with your existing account.
Installation controls vary by browser. If the install option is missing, use Molrelay directly in the browser or save a home-screen shortcut. No app-store purchase is needed.

Huawei and HarmonyOS
In Huawei Browser, open Molrelay and tap the menu. On HarmonyOS below 5, choose 添加至 → 桌面 (Add to → Desktop). On HarmonyOS 5 and later, choose 添加至桌面 (Add to desktop).
Huawei documents website shortcuts for these versions. A shortcut may open the browser; standalone installation and every Molrelay feature have not been verified on actual HarmonyOS/NEXT devices. Use the browser if the shortcut is unavailable. The browser needs modern JavaScript, WebAssembly and WebGL for structure and motion views.

Connection and account
An internet connection is required to sign in, send requests and read saved scientific results. Offline, Molrelay shows a reconnect page. The offline cache contains only that public page; it does not store passwords, private responses or scientific payloads.
Installing, opening, reconnecting or retrying a saved-data read does not submit a calculation. Accepted jobs remain saved in the existing account even when the phone app is closed. Return to read their latest status; phone background refresh is not guaranteed.
Use the same domain each time you open the app. Browser and installed-app sessions may differ, and the two website domains may ask you to sign in separately. Sign-out, approval, access, sharing and retention rules stay the same.
Your complete workspace
Calculations, structure entry and drawing, settings, My molecules, properties, tested configurations, Vibrations, downloads, Guide and account controls use the existing Molrelay pages. Vibrations reads retained checked evidence; unavailable or expired evidence is not recalculated. Explicit-isotope spectra remain unavailable until independently accepted native mass use is verified.
Current installation guidance was checked against Apple, Google and Huawei documentation on 5 October 2026. Browser-emulated phone and tablet checks do not establish actual-device compatibility.
